What We Do

Kontemporary Art and Diskuss, is a platform dedicated to advancing contemporary art and critical discourse. We publish a wide range of content, including critical essays, exhibition reviews, curatorial reflections, interviews, artist spotlights, and informed conversations that engage with current artistic practices

01

Exhibition Reviews

Timely, considered reviews of gallery and museum shows — written by critics who stand in front of the work, not behind a press release. We cover major institutions and overlooked independents equally.

02

Artist Profiles

Long-form encounters with working artists — in their studios, across their bodies of work, and through the questions that drive their practice. We prioritise depth over access.

03

Visual Essays

Image-led features that use photography, archival material, and editorial design as critical tools — not illustration. The work speaks; the text listens.

04

Critical Essays

Longer-form thinking on movements, markets, theory, and the contested histories that shape what art means today. Opinion with an argument — not a take.

05

Art Fair Dispatches

On-the-ground coverage from Art Basel, Frieze, Venice, and beyond — filtering signal from noise so readers understand what actually matters on the fair floor.

06

Collecting Guides

Honest, practical guidance for new and experienced collectors — free of gallery influence, written by critics who buy art themselves and understand what the relationship really costs.
